Lumpectomy

It is simply the surgical removal of the mass along with the surrounding tissue. We only perform this procedure for benign diseases. During the surgery, the patient is evaluated with a Freeze Biopsy (Forezen). In patients with the previously mentioned Fibroadenoma, Hamartoma, Phyllodes Tumor, Painful Fibrocystic disease or Adenosis, to clean the areas of Granulomatous Mastitis that have responded well to drug treatment but have hardness left behind, and to prevent the recurrence of the damaged breast tissue area in recurrent infections after the infection-causing area has been thoroughly suppressed with treatment. It is a technique that allows removal. ,

In this technique, the structure in the breast is removed together with the nearby tissue. Examination with the Frozen Biopsy technique during the surgery enables detection of nearby locations and tissues and carcinogenic tissues that are likely to be overlooked during other pre-operative examinations.
